Alexandru Badaluta is currently working at VW CarSoftwareOrg and has been responsible for the talent attraction of the Hardware and Verification and Validation area at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG and center of excellence for self-driving technology within the VW group. In his position he sets the focus on defining viable talent pools, defining the sourcing and engagement strategy and scouting for recruitment technology that would bring an added value to the organization.
He has many years of experience in the field of IT and automotive recruitment. Before joining AID in 2019, Alexandru has helped several organizations ramp-up by attracting top-performing talent at TomTom, ALTEN and Blue Couch Digital in Poland, The Netherlands and Romania successfully bringing top talent from around the world to work on projects related to the Autonomous Driving , IoT, Telecommunication, Oil and Gas and Mapping domains.
At TomTom, Alex was supporting the Autonomous Driving organization since 2017, working directly for the Head of Autonomous Driving and with recruiters from all around the world, on high impact positions in the area of Product Management, Deep Learning Engineers, Infrastructure Engineering. Alex couldn’t be more excited about his current role at AID: “Autonomous Driving has the potential of saving millions of lives. My mission as a Technical Talent Sourcer is to bring in more people together under the same view, and collectively have an active contribution towards achieving that goal.”
